The fact that you are here means that you are serious about making money online and i can asure you that you will never regret coming across this blog.
Without wasting your precious time, i think i should go straight to what i have for you on this blog because that is why you are here in the first place.
Meanwhile, i am going to start with freelance writing. I want to start with freelance writing because it is one program that does not require any start up capital once you have a computer that is connected to the internet. Now follow me as i teach you everything you need to know
about freelance writing.
Introduction
A freelancer, freelance worker, or freelance is a self-employed person who pursues a profession without a long-term commitment to any particular employee.
Is a 6-Figure Income Possible with
Freelance Writing?
Does $100,000 a year sound too ambitious? I hope not. Thousands of
freelance writers have broken the 6-figure barrier and with some determination and
a clear set of goals, it's very achievable.
You would probably laugh and burst out if I told you some freelancers even
make $400,000 to $500,000 per year, so I would save my face and stick to
$100,000.
There are different kinds of freelance writing. You could write for
magazines, write general articles, write direct marketing advertisements (more on
this later), and write e-books. The world of freelance writing is huge and it can be
confusing to newcomers.
The purpose of this guide is to show you how achieve a 6-figure target,
primarily using the Internet.
(Get ready to work, eat and live in your pajamas!)
The September 2007 issue of The Writer published an excellent article,
"Secrets of Six-Figure Freelancers", which covered magazine freelance writers who
are making six figures, with one making $260,000 per year. This proves that you
can make a great income as any kind of freelance writer. The money is there; all
you have to do is take it.
* An average writer on websites such as Guru.com and Elance.com charges
between $15 and $35 per article. These articles take about an hour each to
write. How many can you write each day? Even with 4-5 hours of work, you
can cross the $36,000 per year barrier.
* Web copywriters charge a minimum of $250 to about $2,000 for 3 to 4
pages. You need about 4 $2,000 assignments per month to break the 6-figure
mark. If you can prove yourself, raise your fees to $10,000 per project; there
are buyers for that price! Yes, it’s true. That’s how much the best
copywriters charge!
Freelance writing is not a get rich scheme. $100,000 per year is a very
realistic figure to reach in freelance writing. No, it does not happen quickly, but it
does happen. And it does not happen to only talented or lucky people; it happens to
normal people who make it happen!
As opposed to what many people think, it does not take a genius or greatness
to make a 6-figure income as a freelance writer. All it takes is:
A new mindset
* Dedication:What are you willing to do to achieve your goal? In his famous
book. The Strangest Secret, Earl Nightingale states it clearly: “The only way
to achieve financial abundance is to provide value to people.” Are you
willing to provide good service to people?
* Treating it as a business: All the freelance writers making 6-figure incomes
treat their writing as a serious home based business and employ sound
principles, which are common in all successful businesses. That’s the
beginner’s secret to breaking the 6-figure mark: treat it as a business.
Get into the mindset of treating freelance writing as a business and you
have already begun your journey to a 6-figure income. Your business
will be writing.
Reaching a target of $2,000 to $ 3,000 per month is very doable in any kind
of freelance writing especially now with the Internet. However, this book is about
six figures, so that’s where we will concentrate.
There are two ways you can make a 6-figure income:
1. Develop skills majority of writers never work upon. What are these skills?
* How to increase fees
* Goal setting
* Productivity
* Selling and marketing your writing services
2. Look for lucrative writing opportunities and become an expert. There are
many areas in writing that pay several times more than the commonly found
opportunities. For example, some writers charge between $10,000 and $ 25,000 per
project in specialized areas such as copywriting and writing corporate annual
reports.
( I think think right now i need a refreshment i shall continue when i m through. Cheers! )
